The proposal aimed at providing a cultural facility on the Paseo de la Barceloneta, stands as a landmark on the beach, constituting a benchmark for it. The building plays with the existing slopes to provide the possibility of access from the beach, the promenade and the interior of the neighborhood, making a permeable building that allows culture to be brought closer to the beachfront. Its sober and contemporary lines maintain the linearity of the military layout of the neighborhood, breaking up to reach the beach in a more natural way. Its translucent facade creates a unique effect inside the building in the way it controls the daylight
