Torrent de l’Olla

The project creates an image of a building that adapts to the environment, by incorporating a rhythm of voids and fills similar to that existing in the Gracia district of Barcelona and with vertical span windows, which generate the composition of the facade. The materials used in the cladding are stone and technical aluminum with a special quartering, corresponding to the general composition of the facade, in light tones at the top and dark at the base. At a functional level, a proposal for houses with homogeneous spaces has been developed, avoiding unnecessary compartmentalisation. The interior distribution is marked by an optimal orientation with respect to sunlight and visuals.
